Every year, museums receive less funding and lose touch with younger generations. Kiss the Frog, an interactive digital agency, wanted to create a product to help museums attract more visitors and liven up the museum experience.

A key part of an enjoyable museum visit is sharing your thoughts and feeling with others. We wanted to give museum visitors a new way to express their feelings on the art and share their experience.

A mixture of design research, observations and vlogging allowed us to thoroughly evaluate the museum experience and share findings with stakeholders using SWOT methods.

We took inspiration from the childhood memory of interacting with shells on the beach. From there we prototyped, tested and refined the interaction for a intuitive, social experience.

We invisioned a new form of audio guide, one that allows visitors to express their thoughts and feelings. Extensive user testing allowed us to develop a joyful experience and an intuitive form. Combining this with Kiss the Frog's brand led us to a playful new form language.
